I spend most of my "free time" (with a husband, two kids and full-time job this isn't a ton of time) creating things I've "pinned" on Pinterest. For those of you unaware, Pinterest is a social network site that allows the sharing of information, i.e. crafts, recipes, etc to be "pinned" or shared. I love making things and this blog will be filled with all the goodies I make. My New Year's resolution was to "make more homemade dinners" and Pinterest has really allowed for me to do so. With this being said, I spent this past Sunday making homemade Valentine's items for my "boys" and yes that includes my husband. I made Oreo cake balls for my husband to take to work. They look and taste amazing. Tonight I will finish off my sons' cupcakes which will have rice krispy treat heart cupcake toppers with cupcake wrappers. I am also making them Angry Bird cards off of a pinner's template I found and have purchased (yikes) conversation hearts to add to the sweet treat!
